What is the difference between a fractional MLRO and a consultant?

We are named as your Money Laundering Reporting Officer, take responsibility for suspicious activity reporting decisions and AML oversight, and are accountable for the outcome — not just the recommendation.
Can you act as our named DPO?
Yes.
We provide Data Protection Officer cover including UK GDPR compliance oversight, handling data subject access requests, maintaining records of processing, and leading breach response and regulator notification where required.
Will a regulator accept an outsourced MLRO or DPO?
Yes, when it is done properly.
Outsourcing these roles is permitted. The regulator expects the appointed person to be competent, to have sufficient authority and direct access to senior management, and for the arrangement to be documented. We make sure that evidence exists from day one.
How much time do we get each month?
